Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit the site, the host processes technically necessary connection data: IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, transferred data volume, and browser/operating-system identifiers. This data serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest) and is deleted automatically after a short period. A data-processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Contact form and email
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you submit: company, email address, message and, where applicable, the selected topic or product. In addition, to prevent spam and abuse, we briefly process your IP address and the submission timestamp in a technical log (rate limiting).
Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into, or performance of, a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security of our systems, handling general enquiries). We store your enquiry for as long as needed to handle it, and beyond that only within statutory retention obligations. The technical log is deleted after a short period. We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising purposes.
Local storage
If you switch the website language manually, we store your choice under the key klarity-locale in your browser's local storage. This entry remains on your device only, contains no personal data, is never transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The storage is technically required for the function you requested.
Cookies, tracking and analytics
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, and embeds no advertising networks. Should we embed consent-requiring third-party content in the future, we will ask for your consent before loading it.
Fonts, videos and external links
All fonts and videos are served locally from our own servers; no connection to third parties such as Google Fonts is established when the page loads. Links to external websites (for instance to our reference clients) lead to services whose data processing is the sole responsibility of the respective operator.
Recipients and processors
Recipients of personal data are limited to: our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., see above) and our email service provider for delivering contact enquiries. Data is disclosed to other third parties only where we are legally obliged to do so.
Your rights
Under Art. 15–21 GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal email to info@klaritytechnology.io is sufficient to exercise your rights.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at — or with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence.
